FAQ

What skills or experience do I need to have before taking this course?

You need to be comfortable with day-to-day computer skills (navigation, opening, saving, etc), everything else you need to know will be covered in class.

What equipment do I need to take this course?

You will need a laptop with Ableton Live 10 installed.

If you don’t own Live yet, our students receive a 40% discount on the software.

Is the online course different to the in-studio course?

They are the same, and the experience is no different – in fact each class group might consist of some students onsite and others online – and students can switch between online or onsite as their needs change.

What if my circumstances change and I can’t attend one or more sessions?

Due to the small class sizes (maximum 9 students) we do not offer class-swaps. You are responsible for attending all scheduled dates, unless you provide 1 month notice before the course begins.
