DJ Plead

Producer & Course Contributor

Jarred Beeler, known as DJ Plead, is a Lebanese-Australian producer, DJ, and course contributor whose percussive, rhythm-driven club music has made him a defining voice in contemporary underground electronic music.

Drawing on Lebanese musical traditions alongside contemporary club and electronic production, DJ Plead creates intricate, drum-led tracks that blend Maqam-influenced melodies with bass-heavy, forward-thinking sound design. Since his breakout release Get In Circle, he has built an international reputation through releases on labels including Decisions, Nervous Horizon, Livity Sound, and AD 93, alongside collaborations with artists such as Logic1000, Big Ever, and Anunaku.

His work is widely supported by influential DJs including Four Tet, Joy Orbison, Batu, and Anthony Naples, and has taken him to clubs and festivals across Europe, the UK, Asia, and North America. Alongside his solo work, he is also co-founder of the SUMAC label, contributing to a broader ecosystem of forward-thinking dance music.

Through his long period teaching with Liveschool, Jarred contributed to students, the school’s creative culture, and approaches to rhythm, groove, and production that continue to inform the curriculum today.
