Dylan Martin

Sydney producer Dylan Martin, known as Royalston, is a veteran drum & bass artist and sound designer best known for his releases on Med School, Hospital Records, Bad Taste, and Black Acre.

As Royalston, Dylan has built a reputation for detailed, hardware-driven productions that combine raw low-end energy with intricate sound design, musicality, and a distinct analogue edge. His albums OCD and People On The Ground, along with a long catalogue of EPs, singles, and compilation appearances, helped establish him as a respected voice in experimental and forward-thinking drum & bass.

Alongside his artist work, Dylan is also an experienced mix engineer, mastering engineer, and production specialist, known for a workflow built around Ableton Live and a deep integration of hardware. He has also shared his approach through tools such as his drum & bass sample work for Loopmasters and Hospital Records, giving other producers insight into the techniques behind his sound.
