Michael Di Francesco, known as Touch Sensitive, is an Australian producer, bassist, keyboardist, and songwriter known for his distinctive blend of Italo-disco, house, synth-pop, and live musicianship.
As Touch Sensitive, Michael is best known for cult favourites such as Pizza Guy and Real Talk with Anna Lunoe, along with a broader body of work spanning Visions and the more recent album In Paradise. His music combines groove, melody, and richly detailed production, while his wider career has included remix work, production, session playing, and live performance across Australian and international stages.
Alongside his own releases, Michael has worked across a wide range of artist and band projects, bringing a musician’s instinct and a producer’s ear to everything from basslines and synth arrangements through to finishing records. His approach is defined by feel, craft, and a deep love of sound — whether working with vintage gear, live players, or electronic production tools.
Through his time teaching and collaborating with Liveschool, Michael has contributed to students, the school’s creative culture, and approaches to production that continue to inform the curriculum today.
