Sydney-based producer and live artist Agustin Marseillan, known as Goose, is a leading figure in Australia’s underground electronic scene, known for immersive hardware-driven performances that move between techno, ambient, improvisation, and leftfield club music.
Working at the intersection of drum machines, synthesisers, and Ableton Live, Goose has built a reputation for sets that feel fluid, spontaneous, and deeply tuned to the energy of the room. His current solo project centres on improvised dawless performance, while Ableton remains a key part of his wider process — from idea development through to shaping music into finished releases.
Goose first became widely known through Goose & Hosca, a project celebrated for rare, sought-after releases and live performances that treated each set as a one-off encounter rather than a fixed reproduction. That same spirit of experimentation, responsiveness, and sonic curiosity continues to define his work today.
As a course contributor to Liveschool, Goose has helped shape the school’s creative direction through his perspective on live electronic performance, improvisation, workflow, and the relationship between hardware and Ableton-based production.
