Music Producer & Trainer
First Nations producer and artist Moss McGregor, known as Moss, is a bass and electronic artist who broke through via triple j Unearthed and has since released on global platforms including Monstercat.
A proud Wadawurrung artist based in Meanjin/Brisbane, Moss has built a reputation for a hybrid, bass-driven sound that blends cinematic textures with heavy low-end energy. His releases have gained support from artists including Marshmello, Yellow Claw, Jauz, Ghastly, and Zeds Dead, positioning him within both Australian and international bass scenes.
His track “Sabre Teeth” featuring Genesis Owusu won triple j Unearthed’s DIY Supergroup competition, reaching #1 on the charts, while subsequent releases such as “Lullabye” and collaborations on Monstercat have continued to expand his global reach. Alongside his releases, Moss leads creative projects such as Grounded, exploring nature-based sampling and culturally grounded sound design.
As a trainer at Liveschool, Moss brings this real-world experience into the classroom — guiding students through production, creative identity, and the transition from making music to releasing it.
