Turn your studio productions into a playable live show, ready to tour.

A great live set is all about connecting to your audience and growing your fanbase by giving them a show they’ll never forget. In this course you’ll develop a show that you love performing – one that’s deeply engaging for you, your audience and any other players involved.

Under the hood, a live show needs to be flexible enough to customise, scalable for different venue sizes, and with a setup bullet-proofed by fail-safes so the show goes on no matter what.

This course is for:

Producers and songwriters looking to take their productions to the stage. Or stage producers looking to understand how artists configure their songs and setups for live performance.

Successful applicants must have a good understanding of music production and Ableton Live.

This course covers:

Creative techniques and technical essentials, taught by Ableton Certified Trainers.

Deconstruct real sets being used by artists to perform, including solo and group setups.

Plan and build your show, converting studio productions into performable pieces, with final performances by all members in the group.

Delve deep into controllers to move fluidly through your sets.

Learning by doing:

You will learn by working completely hands-on, mentored by Ableton Certified Trainers on converting your songs and setup into a viable live show. You will have access to our studios filled with equipment: microphones, controllers, synthesisers, drum machines and hardware. Small group sizes (max 9 per group) provides a supportive space for trial-runs and experimentation.

Liveschool courses support both Live 10 and 11, so making the transition to 11 is seamless for all students and past graduates.
