Your studio projects - as a playable live show, now ready to tour.

In this course you'll develop a show that you love performing, with deep engagement for you, the audience and any other players involved.

Live sets need to be flexible to fit the night you're playing, scalable for different venue sizes, and the setup needs to be bulletproof with failsafes in place so the show goes on. Most of all, a great live set is all about connecting to your audience and growing your fanbase by giving them a show they'll never forget.

This course is for:

Liveschool Graduates that have at least 2 tracks that are ready to be performed live

Successful applicants with a strong understanding of music production and Ableton Live 10

This course covers:

Creative techniques, technical essentials and industry-ready professionalism that will ensure you impress audience and industry-support networks alike.

Conceptualise the journey and setup of your set for versatile performances.

Delve deeper into Push to move fluidly through your sets.

Take a look into real sets being used by artists to perform.

Optimise your ability to create tactile performances with hardware for Live and Studio Setup

Workshop and work one on one with Trainers to work towards your ultimate set.

Learning by doing:

You will learn by working completely hands-on. You will be mentored by our expert instructors on converting your songs and setup into a viable live show. Our closed studio doors and small group size provides a supportive space for trial-runs with mentors and peers to help you onwards. The final sessions are rehearsal performances by all members in the group.

During the hands on component you will have access to a range of synthesisers, drum machines and hardware in the Liveschool studios. This will allow you to experiment and extend the performative aspects of your set.

Perform Live will commence on January 10th with the following schedule

Perform Live 1 10 Jan 2019 6:00PM – 9:00PM

Perform Live 2 17 Jan 2019 6:00PM – 9:00PM

Perform Live 3 24 Jan 2019 6:00PM – 9:00PM

Perform Live 4 31 Jan 2019 6:00PM – 9:00PM

Perform Live 5 07 Feb 2019 6:00PM – 9:00PM

Perform Live 6 14 Feb 2019 6:00PM – 9:00PM

Perform Live 7 21 Feb 2019 6:00PM – 9:00PM

Perform Live 8 28 Feb 2019 6:00PM – 9:00PM

By the end of this program you will have a tour-ready, performable live show and the ability to add more songs / change the set-list as needed.

Perform Live is structured so you work hands-on with specific projects and techniques then apply them to your own performance set under supervision and assistance of our expert mentors. The course is 8 x 3 hour sessions, with the final sessions being a rehearsal performance for all in your class group.
