Learn to record, process, and mix vocals to a professional standard

This is a practical, hands-on module built around real vocal workflows, with guided application to your own tracks and vocal material.

Layering and harmonies
Build depth, width, and impact with doubles, harmonies, stacks, and vocal layering techniques.

FAQs
You should be:
- Comfortable using Ableton Live to the equivalent of the Foundations module
- Knowledgeable in mixing skills, to the equivalent of the Mixing + Mastering module
- And have at least one vocal project under development.
If you’re unsure whether your current skill level is suitable, get in touch and we’ll help assess whether this is the right starting point.
You do not need to buy anything extra before the module begins.
- The latest version of Ableton Live Suite is required. A trial version is fine if you’re on an older edition.
- A standard pair of wired headphones is required.
Any additional plugins discussed during the module are introduced gradually, and any paid plugins will have free options provided, so there’s no need to install them in advance or purchase anything.
We offer flexible options:
- Access detailed study resources at home if you miss a session.
- Discounted one-to-one catch-up sessions are available for in-person support.
- Join a waitlist to retake the session at a later date.
